A sculptural display serif built on strong verticals and expansive, wide proportions. Stems are heavy and confident while crossbars and serifs collapse to fine hairlines, producing a crisp, high-drama rhythm with clear vertical stress. Serifs are delicate and mostly unbracketed, and several glyphs show refined details such as ball terminals (notably in J, y, and some numerals) and sharply tapered joins. The lowercase keeps a conventional x-height but feels assertive due to broad letterforms, deep curves, and pronounced thick–thin transitions; spacing appears generous, helping the large black shapes breathe in text.

Best suited to headlines, magazine titles, pull quotes, and other large-scale editorial typography where the contrast and fine details can be appreciated. It can also support premium branding and packaging when used at sizes that preserve the hairlines and delicate serif work. For extended reading, it will perform most comfortably in short blocks or feature text rather than dense body copy.

The tone is elegant and theatrical, with a distinctly editorial polish. The exaggerated contrast and wide stance read as upscale and fashion-forward, while the classical serif construction maintains a formal, traditional underpinning.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern take on a classic high-contrast serif: wide, bold silhouettes paired with razor-thin serifs and cross-strokes for maximum visual impact. Its detailing prioritizes elegance and graphic presence, aiming for a refined, attention-grabbing voice in display typography.

Uppercase forms feel monumental and stable, with round letters like O/Q showing a striking thick–thin split that heightens the graphic effect. Numerals and punctuation carry the same refined contrast, and the overall texture alternates between dense vertical strokes and razor-thin horizontals, creating a lively, shimmering line in larger settings.
