A decorative serif with sharply cut, flared wedge serifs and an overall angular, chiseled construction. Strokes alternate between sturdy verticals and tapered joins, with frequent triangular notches and pointed terminals that give counters and apertures a faceted look. Capitals are tall and imposing with compact interior space in several letters, while lowercase forms echo the same hard-edged rhythm and show distinctive, simplified bowls and joints. Numerals and punctuation follow the same carved logic, producing a bold, graphic texture with strong vertical emphasis and conspicuous silhouette differences across glyphs.

Best suited to display uses where its carved, gothic character can be appreciated—title treatments, posters, game and film branding, album art, and period-evocative packaging. It can also work for short pull quotes or chapter headings when set with generous size and spacing.

The tone feels archaic and ceremonial, evoking inscriptions, heraldry, and fantasy-era display lettering. Its sharp corners and blade-like serifs add drama and authority, reading as stern, mystical, and slightly ominous rather than friendly or neutral.

The letterforms appear designed to emulate a cut or engraved aesthetic, combining traditional serif structure with exaggerated wedge terminals and angular detailing to create an intentionally historic, ornamental voice for attention-grabbing display typography.

The design prioritizes silhouette and texture over smooth reading flow, with many corners, tight counters, and abrupt stroke endings that become especially prominent at smaller sizes. In text settings it creates a consistent, dark rhythm with distinctive word shapes, but the spiky detailing and condensed internal spaces make it more comfortable for headlines than extended copy.
