A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring terminals and strongly bracketed joins that give the strokes a chiseled, calligraphic feel. Thick verticals dominate while hairline connections and serifs stay crisp, producing a sharp light–dark rhythm. Proportions are generous and open, with rounded bowls and neatly tapered entries/exits; counters remain clear even at heavier strokes. The lowercase shows compact, sturdy forms with a two-storey a, a compact e with a defined eye, and a slightly hooked, energetic f; figures follow the same contrast and flare with curving spines and pronounced top/bottom shaping.

Best suited to headlines, magazine covers, and large editorial typography where contrast and sculpted terminals can be appreciated. It can also support premium branding and packaging, especially where a traditional serif voice is desired with added drama and presence.

The overall tone is confident and theatrical—classic in structure but more expressive in its flared finishing and punchy contrast. It reads as premium and editorial, with a sense of cultivated elegance rather than neutrality.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif foundations with a more expressive, flared finishing to increase impact and personality. Its strong contrast and crisp detailing suggest a focus on display-led typography that still retains disciplined proportions and clear internal spaces.

Pointed apexes and crisp serifs add sparkle in display settings, while the consistent bracketing and stable vertical stress help keep long lines visually coherent. The design’s flare is most noticeable at stroke endings and serif transitions, creating a subtly ink-trap-like bite in some joins without looking mechanical.
