A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stress, crisp hairlines, and weighty main stems that create a distinctly sculpted, print-like rhythm. Serifs are sharply cut and often wedge-like, with subtle bracketing and pointed terminals that give many joins a slightly calligraphic bite. Counters are relatively compact and the overall color is dark and emphatic, while spacing and widths vary noticeably across letters, producing a lively, non-monoline texture in text. Numerals and punctuation follow the same contrast logic, with thin cross-strokes and prominent curves that read best at display-to-text crossover sizes.

Well-suited to headlines, subheads, and editorial layouts where strong contrast and refined serifs are meant to be seen. It can also work for book covers, posters, and brand typography that needs a classic foundation with extra drama, especially in larger sizes.

The tone is traditional and editorial, with a dramatic, high-fashion edge coming from the sharp hairlines and decisive terminals. It feels authoritative and polished—more like curated print typography than neutral UI text—bringing a sense of ceremony and emphasis to headlines and pull quotes.

The design appears intended to modernize a conventional text-serif model by pushing contrast and sharpening details for impact, while keeping familiar letterforms for readability. It aims to bridge classical proportions with a more theatrical, display-ready presence.

Round letters show pronounced thick–thin modulation, and several glyphs feature tapered, blade-like endings that sharpen the silhouette. The lowercase maintains a conventional structure, but the heavy overall color and lively width variation make paragraphs feel assertive and attention-getting.
