A sturdy serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a compact, slightly squared rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with occasional ball terminals and small teardrop forms that add texture. Stroke endings and joins show a subtly rugged, inked look, giving counters a slightly irregular edge without breaking overall legibility. Uppercase forms are broad and stable; lowercase maintains a traditional text structure with moderate ascenders/descenders and clear, open counters.

Well suited to headlines and short-to-medium editorial settings where a strong serif presence is desired. The built-in texture makes it effective for packaging, posters, and book covers that want a traditional voice with a slightly distressed print flavor, especially at display sizes where the rugged detailing can be appreciated.

The tone is classic and assertive, with a distinctly vintage, printed-page character. Its roughened details suggest letterpress or inked reproduction, lending warmth and gravitas while still reading as conventional and familiar.

The design appears aimed at delivering a conventional serif reading experience while adding an intentionally inked, vintage texture for extra personality and emphasis. It prioritizes solid forms and recognizable proportions, then layers in roughened detailing to evoke print heritage.

Round letters (O, C, G) carry a strong vertical stress, and the numerals are weighty with old-style warmth. The face holds together well in text blocks, where the textured edges become a consistent grain rather than isolated quirks.
