A slanted serif with a calligraphic, humanist build and gently bracketed serifs. Strokes show a moderate thick–thin rhythm with smooth, tapered joins and slightly softened terminals, giving the letterforms a fluid, handwritten undercurrent rather than rigid construction. Curves are open and rounded, counters are generous, and spacing feels even and text-ready, with a calm baseline rhythm and a slightly springy diagonal stress visible across bowls and arches.

Well suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts, especially where an italic with genuine calligraphic motion is needed for emphasis, quotes, or lead-ins. It can also serve refined brand and invitation work when a classical, humanist tone is preferred over high-contrast fashion italics.

The overall tone is cultured and bookish, with a warm, lightly formal voice. Its italic movement reads expressive without becoming decorative, suggesting traditional editorial or literary settings where personality is welcome but clarity remains primary.

The design appears intended to provide a readable, traditionally grounded italic with humanist warmth—balancing moderate contrast and bracketed serifs with an easy, flowing cadence for text sizes and continuous use.

Capitals are restrained and balanced, pairing well with a more animated lowercase that carries much of the italic energy. Numerals appear old-style in feel, blending into running text rather than standing apart, which supports continuous reading and understated typographic color.
