A heavy serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings and pronounced bracketed serifs that read more carved than mechanical. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation, with strong verticals and tapered joins that create sharp interior notches and compact counters. Terminals are crisp and slightly wedge-like, giving curves a chiseled edge rather than a soft ball finish. The overall rhythm is dense and steady, with sturdy uppercase forms, rounded bowls, and numerals that keep the same weight and presence as the letters.

Best suited to display applications where its dense color and sculpted serifs can carry impact—magazine headlines, book covers, campaign posters, and bold brand marks. It can also work for short editorial callouts and packaging copy when set with ample spacing to preserve clarity.

The tone is assertive and traditional, pairing a classical bookish authority with a punchy, headline-ready intensity. Its sharp joins and sculpted serifs add a slightly theatrical, poster-like drama while still feeling rooted in editorial typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with extra weight and sculptural contrast, combining traditional proportions with flared, emphatic stroke endings for high-impact display use.

The font’s heavy weight and tight internal spaces make it feel most comfortable when given air through generous tracking and line spacing. In text settings it produces a dark, continuous color with strong word shapes, while the distinctive flared endings contribute character even at a glance.
