A typewriter-inspired serif with compact proportions, sturdy stems, and softly bracketed slab-like terminals. The letterforms show deliberate irregularity: edges are roughened, counters look slightly chewed or ink-filled in places, and stroke ends appear blotted rather than cleanly cut. Rhythm is mostly monolinear but with small localized thick–thin variation caused by texture and worn-looking outlines, giving each glyph a slightly different footprint while keeping a consistent baseline and overall structure.

Works well for posters, book covers, title treatments, and editorial callouts where a worn typewritten aesthetic is desired. It can also suit packaging or branding that aims for rustic authenticity, archival documentation, or gritty storytelling; for longer text, the texture will be most comfortable at larger sizes with generous leading.

The font conveys an analog, archival tone—like aged correspondence, carbon copies, or imperfect mechanical printing. Its distressed texture adds grit and tension, lending a suspenseful, documentary, or noir-like mood while still reading as broadly familiar and grounded.

The design appears intended to reproduce the familiar structure of a typewriter serif while adding convincing wear, ink spread, and print artifacts. The goal is a readable, characterful voice that feels printed and lived-in rather than crisp and digital.

Texture is strong enough to be clearly visible at display sizes and in short passages, with occasional dark spots and ragged edges that create a convincing “ink bite” effect. Spacing reads like a typewriter model, though the irregular outlines introduce a lively, handmade break from strict mechanical uniformity.
