A decorative serif with a distinctive cut-and-fill construction that creates stencil-like counters and sharp, wedgey separations inside bowls and curves. Strokes are generally robust and even, with contrast expressed more through carved notches and split joins than through thick–thin modulation. Many letters use flared, triangular serifs and blade-like terminals, while round forms (C, O, Q, 6, 8, 9) show scooped interiors and segmented bowls that read as deliberate insets. The rhythm is bold and poster-forward, with angular diagonals and tight inner apertures giving the text a punchy, patterned texture in lines of copy.

Best suited to display applications such as posters, headlines, title treatments, packaging, and branding where the carved interior details can read clearly. It can work for short editorial headings or pull quotes, but the strong internal segmentation is likely to feel busy at small sizes or in long passages.

The overall tone is stagey and stylized, evoking vintage display typography with an Art Deco–adjacent sense of drama. Its carved details and emphatic terminals feel ceremonial and attention-grabbing, leaning more toward headline flair than quiet refinement.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif silhouette through a carved, stencil-like construction, prioritizing graphic impact and a memorable texture over straightforward text neutrality. It aims to deliver a bold, vintage-leaning voice that stands out in identity and headline contexts.

Numerals and capitals share the same carved, segmented logic as the lowercase, helping the set feel consistent in mixed settings. The internal cut shapes are prominent enough that spacing and size will strongly affect legibility, with the design reading best when its insets can be clearly resolved.
