A slanted serif with strongly tapered strokes and pronounced thick–thin modulation, giving letters a carved, calligraphic feel. Serifs are sharp and wedge-like with subtle bracketing, and many joins and terminals show teardrop/ball-like shaping that adds weight and motion. Counters are moderately open, curves are smooth and slightly tensioned, and the overall rhythm is energetic, with angled stress and firm vertical presence. Numerals and capitals read sturdy and stately, while the lowercase has a more fluid, pen-driven texture.

Best suited for display and editorial settings such as magazine headlines, book or album covers, posters, and emphatic pull quotes where the contrast and slanted rhythm can shine. It can work for short passages or introductions when set with generous size and spacing, but its strongest performance is in prominent typographic moments.

The font conveys a traditional, editorial tone with a touch of drama—confident, polished, and slightly theatrical. Its slant and high contrast add momentum, making it feel expressive without tipping into ornamental script.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with added movement and contrast, balancing conventional text-serif structure with more expressive, calligraphy-informed detailing for stronger visual presence.

In text, the contrast and sharp terminals create a crisp, high-impact texture, especially at larger sizes. The italic angle is consistent across cases, and the design leans on distinctive terminals and wedge serifs to provide personality and emphasis.
