A spiky, irregular display face with slender, mostly straight stems and abrupt, thorn-like protrusions along outer contours. Strokes maintain a fairly consistent thinness, but edges are aggressively broken and serrated, creating a distressed silhouette rather than smooth curves. Round letters become rough, notched rings, while verticals often terminate in spear-point tips; counters are small-to-moderate and sometimes pinched by the ornamentation. Spacing and letterfit feel uneven by design, with a slightly jittery rhythm that reads as intentionally unruly in text.

Best suited for headlines and short bursts of copy where the spiked texture can act as a graphic element—such as horror posters, Halloween promotions, dark-fantasy game titles, album/EP covers, and themed event branding. It can also work for logos or wordmarks when used sparingly and given generous size and spacing.

The overall tone is dark and prickly, leaning toward horror and occult-adjacent drama. Its thorned outlines and scratchy texture suggest menace, decay, and uneasy energy, turning even simple words into a theatrical, unsettling statement.

The design appears intended to transform a simple serif-like skeleton into a thorned, distressed display voice, prioritizing atmosphere and edge texture over smooth readability. It aims to deliver instant genre signaling through jagged terminals, eroded curves, and a deliberately unsettled rhythm.

Legibility holds best at larger sizes where the silhouette can read before the texture overwhelms it. In longer lines, the repeated spikes create a busy pattern that can dominate the page, functioning more as a visual texture than a neutral text color.
