A sharply inclined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a lively, calligraphic stroke flow. Serifs are small and tapered with a slightly flared, bracketed feel, and many joins end in pointed or beak-like terminals. Curves are energetic rather than geometric, with noticeable diagonal stress and some uneven, hand-cut character in bowls and shoulders. Capitals feel broad and sweeping, while lowercase forms sit low with compact counters and a tight x-height, giving the text a distinctive, textured rhythm.

Well-suited to display and short-to-medium text where a traditional, expressive serif is desired—book and magazine headlines, pull quotes, cultural posters, and formal announcements. The strong contrast and animated italics make it especially effective for titles, branding accents, and other settings that benefit from a period-leaning voice.

The font conveys a classic, literary tone with a hint of drama. Its brisk italic movement and sharp terminals add urgency and expressiveness, suggesting historical print, poetry, or editorial voice rather than neutral UI typography.

The design appears intended to evoke old-style, calligraphy-informed italics with a more theatrical edge than a purely text-centric face. By combining high contrast, sharp terminals, and wide, sweeping capitals, it aims to deliver a historically flavored, distinctive texture for expressive typography.

Spacing and widths vary visibly across letters, which enhances an organic, written quality in text. Several glyphs show slightly exaggerated entry/exit strokes and occasional swash-like terminals (notably in letters such as Q, f, y), adding personality that becomes more apparent at display sizes.
