A condensed display serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and wedge-like flared endings that expand out of stems rather than forming flat slabs. Strokes feel carved and sculptural, with crisp, pointed terminals and occasional soft rounding where curves swell into heavy bowls. The caps are tall and commanding, with tight apertures in letters like E, S, and a strongly modeled Q; lowercase forms are compact with a sturdy, bulbous a and g and a narrow, upright rhythm. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, flared logic, reading bold and poster-ready with distinctive, tapered diagonals and strong vertical emphasis.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and short statements where its sculpted contrast and flared serifs can be appreciated. It works well for posters, magazine features, packaging, and brand marks seeking a bold, vintage-leaning voice; for longer text, it will perform most comfortably at larger sizes with generous leading.

The overall tone is dramatic and stylized, evoking a vintage editorial or poster tradition with a slightly gothic, theatrical edge. It feels confident and ceremonial—more about impact and character than neutrality—suggesting headlines that want to look curated and authoritative.

The letterforms appear designed to deliver strong display impact through condensed proportions, pronounced contrast, and flared terminals that create a carved, decorative presence. The intent seems to balance classic serif cues with a more expressive, poster-like sharpness for attention-grabbing typography.

The design’s condensed proportions and tight internal spaces create a dense texture in paragraphs, while the flared stroke endings and sharp terminals add a lively sparkle at larger sizes. Curves are weighty and animated, giving counters a teardrop-like pull and making round letters feel dynamic rather than geometric.
