A condensed, blackletter-inspired display face with sharply tapered strokes and jagged, flame-like terminals. Forms are high-contrast and irregularly textured, as if distressed or bitten away, creating a restless edge along stems and bowls. Counters tend to be tight and angular, while verticals dominate the rhythm, producing a tall, compressed silhouette. Overall spacing feels compact and the outlines maintain an intentionally uneven, hand-wrought consistency across letters and numerals.

Best suited to headlines, title cards, posters, packaging, and themed graphics where atmosphere is more important than sustained readability. It works well for horror and dark-fantasy branding, event promotions, album art, and in-world UI elements (e.g., gothic menus, chapter headings) when used at display sizes with generous tracking.

The font projects a sinister, ritualistic tone—part medieval manuscript, part horror prop typography. Its spurs and ragged contours suggest decay, smoke, or thorny silhouettes, giving text an ominous, supernatural presence. The narrow build and sharp contrast heighten the sense of tension and drama.

The design appears intended to evoke gothic tradition while amplifying it with distressed, thorny details for a deliberately unsettling effect. Its condensed proportions and dramatic contrast aim to deliver maximum impact in short, attention-grabbing settings.

In longer lines the aggressive edges and tight interior spaces reduce readability, especially at small sizes, but the style remains cohesive and impactful for short phrases. Numerals share the same spiked, distressed construction, supporting consistent titling and date/episode-style settings.
