A heavy, display-oriented serif with pronounced flared terminals and wedge-like feet that give the letters a carved, woodtype feel. Strokes are mostly monoline with subtle modulation, and the contours are intentionally irregular—edges look slightly roughened with small nicks and uneven curves that mimic worn printing or hand-cut forms. Proportions are compact with sturdy bowls and tight counters, producing a dense, high-impact texture in text. Round letters (O, C, G) read as robust and slightly squarish, while diagonals and joins show a gently lumpy rhythm that reinforces the distressed finish.

Best suited to display applications where texture is an asset: posters, event and festival flyers, themed packaging, labels, and book or album covers. It can also work for short pull quotes or signage when set with generous size and spacing to keep the distressed contours readable.

The overall tone is theatrical and nostalgic, suggesting old posters, curiosities, and lightly ominous storytelling. Its uneven inking and chunky serifs add a handmade charm that can feel playful at larger sizes, while the dark massing and irregular silhouette can skew eerie or mysterious depending on color and setting.

The design appears intended to evoke aged, imperfect printing and handcrafted letterforms, combining bold slab/woodtype cues with deliberate roughness for immediate character. It aims to deliver a period-tinged, decorative voice that stands out quickly in themed display typography.

In longer lines, the strong black shape and irregular edges create a lively, noisy texture that favors headlines over small body sizes. Numerals share the same chunky, flared construction, keeping a consistent poster-like voice across letters and figures.
