A heavy slab-serif with broad proportions, chunky stems, and squared counters that read clearly at large sizes. The serifs are thick and strongly bracketed, with subtly notched/ink-trap-like joints where strokes meet, helping keep the interior shapes open despite the weight. Curves are full and rounded (notably in C, G, O, S), while flat terminals and sturdy horizontals give a poster-like solidity. The lowercase is compact and sturdy with a single-storey a and g, a firm, slabbed t, and short, strong ascenders that maintain a dense rhythm in text.

Best suited to headlines, posters, storefront or wayfinding-style signage, and bold packaging where strong presence is required. It also fits sports or team branding and retro-inspired identities that want a sturdy slab-serif voice. For longer copy, it works most comfortably in short bursts (pull quotes, labels, mastheads) where its dense color can be managed with spacing.

The overall tone is confident and punchy, with a vintage American flavor that hints at collegiate and western signage. Its mass and slabbed detailing feel dependable and workmanlike, projecting authority rather than delicacy. The notched joins add a slightly engineered, display-forward character that keeps it from feeling purely traditional.

The design appears aimed at delivering maximum impact and legibility with a classic slab-serif framework, combining broad, confident shapes with practical cut-ins at tight joins. It balances rounded letterforms with squared structure to stay readable while maintaining a distinctly display-oriented, heritage feel.

Numerals are wide and emphatic, with rounded forms and prominent slab finishing that matches the capitals. The spacing in sample text looks deliberately tight for impact, creating a solid texture line-to-line; it benefits from generous leading or careful tracking when used in longer passages.
