A condensed, vertically emphatic serif with angular, faceted construction and crisp corners throughout. Strokes are largely monolinear, with small wedge-like serifs and frequent notches that create a carved, inscribed feel rather than a smooth transitional rhythm. Curves are minimized into chamfered joins, producing narrow counters and a compact texture in text. Uppercase forms are tall and rigid, while the lowercase keeps the same sharp geometry, with distinctive diamond-shaped dots on i and j and tightly drawn bowls and shoulders. Numerals are similarly narrow and blocky, maintaining the same pointed terminals and squared interior shapes.

Best suited to display sizes where its angular details and narrow proportions can read clearly—headlines, posters, mastheads, and branding that benefits from a historic or gothic voice. It can also work for short signage or packaging labels where a compact, high-impact line is needed, but it is less comfortable for long passages at small sizes due to dense texture and tight counters.

The overall tone is gothic and ceremonial, with a strong vintage poster energy. Its sharp edges and compressed rhythm feel assertive and formal, suggesting tradition, authority, and a slightly ominous theatricality. The texture reads more like stamped or carved lettering than modern book typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a condensed, high-impact serif with a blackletter-adjacent flavor, translating carved or engraved forms into a consistent, repeatable type system. Its geometry and ornament aim to create a distinctive texture and period character while staying structurally regular for setting words and titles.

Spacing appears tight and the internal apertures are small, so the face builds a dark, continuous color line in longer settings. The repeated use of chamfered corners, wedge terminals, and diamond tittle accents gives the design a consistent ornamental signature across cases and figures.
