This serif presents a sculpted, display-oriented construction built from tapered strokes, wedge-like serifs, and sharply cut terminals. Many forms show deliberate internal cut-ins and notches that create an ink-trap-like bite and a crisp, faceted silhouette. Round letters keep an elegant, slightly condensed oval tendency with clean, high-contrast-looking edges created by tapering rather than strong thick–thin modulation. Uppercase proportions feel statuesque and calm, while the lowercase introduces lively asymmetry in bowls and joins, maintaining a consistent, chiseled rhythm across letters and figures.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, mastheads, and brand marks where the carved details can remain visible. It can work for short paragraphs in editorial settings when set generously, but its signature cut-ins and sharp terminals are most effective in display typography.

The overall tone is luxurious and editorial, with a hint of theatrical flair. Its sharp, carved details read as fashion-forward and premium, balancing classic serif cues with an intentionally unconventional, cut-paper texture.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif with a contemporary, decorative cut—adding sharp wedges and strategic notches to create a distinctive, high-end texture while preserving familiar roman proportions.

Numerals and punctuation follow the same faceted logic, with distinctive diagonal slices and pointed joins that stay visually consistent at larger sizes. In dense text the distinctive notches become a defining texture, so spacing and size will strongly influence how “sparkly” or bold the page color appears.
