A high-contrast serif with broad, sculpted forms and pronounced flaring where stems meet terminals and serifs. The serifs read as sharp, wedge-like beaks rather than slabs, and many joins show small triangular notches that create a cut-in, ink-trap-like sparkle. Round letters are generously drawn with tight apertures and strong thick–thin transitions, while diagonals and arms finish in tapered points that keep the texture crisp. Overall spacing feels display-oriented: the black shapes dominate, counters are compact, and the rhythm alternates between bold verticals and razor-thin connecting strokes.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and book display typography, posters, and branding systems that need a bold, sculptural serif with strong personality. It will shine in larger sizes where the notched joins, wedge terminals, and extreme contrast can be appreciated, and where dense, dramatic color is an asset rather than a liability.

The tone is assertive and theatrical, with a distinctly editorial, headline-forward presence. Its sharp terminals and carved details lend a refined, slightly baroque attitude that feels premium and attention-seeking rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic high-contrast serif in a more graphic, carved style, emphasizing flared endings and sharp, chiseled details to increase impact. It prioritizes striking silhouette and texture for display settings over quiet, text-centric neutrality.

The family of shapes is consistent across cases: capitals are stately and compact, lowercase shows sturdy, rounded bowls with pronounced modulation, and numerals carry the same engraved contrast and pointed finishing. The cut-in details at joins and terminals add texture at larger sizes and can become a defining motif in branding or titling.
