A high-contrast serif with strong thick–thin modulation, hairline joins, and sharply tapered terminals. Serifs are bracketing rather than slabby, giving stems a sculpted, calligraphic feel while keeping an upright, controlled stance. Capitals are sturdy and slightly wide-set with crisp apexes and fine horizontals; the lowercase shows compact, bookish proportions with clear two-storey forms (notably a and g) and narrow, incisive entry/exit strokes. Numerals and punctuation follow the same razor-thin hairlines and weighty verticals, producing a distinctly engraved rhythm at display sizes.

Well suited to magazine headlines, pull quotes, and elegant titling where contrast and sharp detailing can shine. It can support refined branding and packaging, as well as book-cover typography, particularly in high-quality print or high-resolution digital layouts. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable at sizes where the hairlines remain clear and the contrast doesn’t sparkle.

The overall tone is polished and traditional, with a pronounced sense of editorial authority. Its sharp contrast and refined detailing evoke luxury print and classical book typography, while the confident, weighty dark strokes add a slightly theatrical, headline-ready presence.

This font appears designed to deliver a classic, authoritative serif voice with pronounced contrast and finely cut details, targeting premium editorial and display applications while retaining conventional proportions for familiar readability.

The design favors vertical stress and crisp interior counters, creating strong word-shapes and a steady texture in larger text. Fine hairlines and delicate serifs suggest it will look best when given enough size and resolution to preserve detail, especially in dense settings.
