A slender, italic serif with strongly calligraphic construction and crisp stroke modulation. Letterforms lean with a steady rhythm, using tapered entry/exit strokes and bracketed serifs that feel carved rather than mechanical. Curves are open and slightly irregular in a human way, with small teardrop/ball-like terminals appearing in several lowercase forms and a distinctive looped, two-storey “g.” Numerals follow the same fluent, pen-driven logic, with elegant figures and noticeable contrast between thick and hairline strokes.

Well suited to book and editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, introductions, pull quotes, or literary titling. It can also work for formal invitations, premium packaging, and brand messaging that aims for heritage and refinement, especially at medium to larger sizes where its hairlines and terminals can be appreciated.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a warm, old-world elegance that reads as learned rather than ornamental. Its lively italic movement adds sophistication and a hint of drama without becoming overly formal or rigid.

The design appears intended to capture an old-style, pen-influenced italic with a refined texture and expressive terminals, balancing traditional serif structure with lively handwritten motion for elegant, readable setting.

Capitals are poised and slightly condensed, pairing well with the more animated lowercase. The sample text shows good flow in longer passages, where the italic slant and sharp hairlines create a crisp, sparkling texture; at smaller sizes the thinnest strokes and tight spacing may benefit from generous leading and careful color control.
