A condensed italic serif with brisk, calligraphy-led construction and a lively, slightly irregular stroke texture. Strokes show tapered joins and moderate thick–thin shifts, with bracketed serifs that often feel like sharp, inked flicks rather than rigid slabs. The capitals are tall and narrow with compact bowls and pointed entry/exit terminals; the lowercase keeps a relatively straightforward x-height but rises into long ascenders and descenders, giving lines a vertical, animated cadence. Counters are tight and spacing feels efficient, producing a strong column of text and a distinctive, energetic silhouette.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium passages where its energetic italic rhythm can be appreciated—headlines, subheads, pull quotes, book or magazine titling, and vintage-leaning packaging. It can also work for compact editorial settings when a distinctive, period-flavored voice is desired, though the tight counters and expressive texture will be more comfortable at moderate sizes than very small text.

The overall tone is old-world and literary, like ink on paper—refined but not pristine. Its narrow, slanted forms and crisp terminals create a dramatic, slightly theatrical voice that reads as historical, editorial, and expressive rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to merge classical serif structure with a handwritten, pen-driven italic feel, prioritizing character and pace over strict neutrality. Its condensed proportions suggest an aim for efficient, space-saving typography while maintaining an expressive, old-style warmth.

In the text sample, the italic angle and condensed fit create a fast rhythm and pronounced word shapes, especially in capitals and round letters. Numerals follow the same narrow, calligraphic logic with lively curves and tapered ends, staying consistent with the letterforms’ animated texture.
