A high-contrast serif with strong, weighty main strokes and very thin hairlines, creating a distinctly glossy, chiselled rhythm. Serifs are bracketed yet sharp, with pointed wedge-like endings that stay crisp even in the bold weight. The letterforms are upright with a fairly traditional skeleton, but the extreme contrast and tight hairline connections give counters and joins a sculpted, cut-paper look. Curves show pronounced vertical stress (notably in O/Q and numerals), and capitals have a formal, display-oriented presence while lowercase maintains conventional proportions.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, magazine and fashion layouts, and brand-led applications where contrast and elegance are assets. It can also work for premium packaging and event materials when set with generous size and spacing to preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is elegant and assertive, combining classic book-serifs with a fashion/editorial sheen. It feels luxurious and ceremonial, with a dramatic contrast that reads as premium and attention-seeking rather than quiet or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with heightened contrast and polish, prioritizing drama and sophistication for display typography. It aims to provide a refined, editorial look with strong visual impact and crisp detailing.

In the text sample, the heavy stems and delicate hairlines create striking word shapes at large sizes, while small internal details (thin crossbars, fine joins, and narrow apertures) appear designed for display contexts. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with curvy figures (e.g., 2, 3, 8, 9) showing sculptural thick–thin modulation.
