A classic serif with crisp, bracketed wedge serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The capitals are stately and slightly narrow with sharp terminals and a vertical, upright stress; curves transition into stems with clean, controlled joins. Lowercase forms keep a traditional book-face rhythm, with compact bowls, a two-storey “g,” a beaked “f,” and a teardrop/ball-like detail on letters such as “a” and “j.” Numerals follow the same high-contrast, old-style sensibility, with refined curves and strong verticals.

Well suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a classic serif texture is desired. It also performs effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and formal communications—such as invitations or programs—where its sharp serifs and contrast can contribute elegance and authority.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, with a distinctly literary, print-oriented feel. Its sharp serifs and high-contrast strokes add a sense of ceremony and polish, lending the type a formal, editorial voice rather than a casual or utilitarian one.

The design appears intended as a conventional, print-forward serif that balances readability with a refined, traditional character. Its high-contrast drawing and bracketed serifs suggest an aim toward classic editorial typography and dignified display use.

Spacing and rhythm read even in running text, while the pointed serifs and fine hairlines give the design a slightly dramatic edge at display sizes. The combination of sturdy stems and delicate connecting strokes creates clear hierarchy and a refined page texture.
