A heavy, display-oriented serif with pronounced vertical stress and sharp thick–thin transitions. The letterforms are broad and commanding, with sculpted, wedge-like serifs and tapered joins that create a chiseled, high-impact silhouette. Counters tend to be compact and apertures relatively tight, contributing to dense, inky text color, while rounded forms show crisp tension and occasional ball-like terminals. Figures are robust and similarly wide, maintaining the same forceful contrast and sturdy baseline presence.

Best suited to large-scale typography such as headlines, poster titles, book and album covers, and mastheads where the strong contrast and wide proportions can be appreciated. It can also work for branding and packaging that benefits from a classic-but-forceful voice, while extended body copy may require generous size and spacing to avoid an overly dense texture.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical, mixing classical serif cues with a poster-like insistence. It feels assertive and slightly vintage, suited to statements that should read as grand, authoritative, or deliberately dramatic rather than neutral.

The design appears intended as a statement serif: wide, high-impact forms with classical stress and refined hairline details, optimized to deliver authority and drama in display settings.

At text sizes the strong contrast and compact internal space can make long passages feel dark and blocky, while at larger sizes the sharp serifs, stressed curves, and sculpted terminals become the main visual feature. The rhythm is energetic, with noticeable shape variety between letters that adds character in headlines.
