An italic serif with flowing, calligraphic construction and a consistent rightward slant. Strokes show moderate contrast with tapered entries and exits, and many terminals finish in wedge-like, subtly flared serifs rather than blunt slabs. Counters are open and rounded, with a lively baseline rhythm created by angled stems and gently varying stroke endings. Capitals feel slightly narrower and more monumental, while the lowercase has a more handwritten, oldstyle texture, including a single-storey italic “a” and looped, descending forms that add motion in text.

Well suited to editorial settings such as book typography, magazine features, and essays where an italic with character is desirable. It can also work effectively for invitations, cultural branding, and short-form display lines (titles, pull quotes, packaging) where a classic, refined voice is needed.

The overall tone is polished and literary, evoking traditional book typography and editorial refinement. Its energetic italics and sharp, tapered details also give it a slightly dramatic, expressive edge suited to emphasis and voice.

The design appears intended to provide a traditionally rooted italic with calligraphic movement and crisp, wedge-like serif detailing, balancing readability with a distinctive, decorative texture for expressive setting.

The numerals and capitals share the same tapered serif language, helping the font stay cohesive across mixed content. In paragraphs, the angled forms and wedge terminals create a noticeable texture that reads as intentional and stylish rather than purely utilitarian.
