A high-contrast serif with strong vertical emphasis and very fine hairline connections. Serifs are sharp and clean with minimal bracketing, and the overall drawing feels crisp and controlled rather than calligraphic. Uppercase forms are stately and open, with generous internal counters and a measured rhythm; diagonals (V/W/X/Y) show thin joining strokes against sturdy stems. The lowercase keeps a traditional book-face structure with a two-storey a, compact joins, and a tidy, even texture in text. Numerals follow the same refined contrast model, with thin horizontals and neatly finished terminals.

Well suited to magazine headlines, pull quotes, and editorial titling where contrast and refinement are assets. It also fits luxury brand identities, packaging, and formal stationery, especially when set with ample whitespace. For longer passages, it will perform best when size and output quality preserve the hairlines and delicate details.

The font projects a polished, cultivated tone associated with luxury publishing and classic typography. Its sharp detailing and dramatic thick–thin interplay feel formal and high-end, giving text a composed, slightly theatrical presence without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern interpretation of a classic high-contrast serif: assertive verticals, razor-like hairlines, and a poised, sophisticated text color. It aims to communicate prestige and clarity through disciplined proportions and crisp finishing.

In the sample text, the letterspacing and tight hairlines create a bright, high-contrast page color that rewards larger sizes and good printing or rendering conditions. Round letters (C/O/Q) feel smooth and balanced, while the overall cadence remains consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures.
