A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly pen-and-ink texture. Strokes show irregular edges, tapered entries, and occasional sharp spur-like terminals that suggest a pointed-nib or brushy calligraphic source. Serifs are delicate and sometimes hairline, with lively, uneven joins and small flicks that create a restless rhythm across words. Proportions are relatively tight with compact counters, while select letters and figures introduce decorative curls and looped details that add visual sparkle.

Works best for display and short-to-medium text where its textured stroke edges and dramatic contrast can be appreciated—such as book covers, chapter openers, editorial features, boutique packaging, menus, or event invitations. It can also serve for pull quotes or branding accents when a handcrafted, period-tinged voice is desired.

The font reads as handcrafted and slightly unruly, mixing elegance with a roughened, antique print feel. Its energetic stroke endings and occasional flourishes lend a theatrical, storybook tone—more expressive than formal—suited to settings where personality and atmosphere matter.

The design appears intended to evoke historical, calligraphy-influenced letterforms with a deliberately imperfect inked finish. By combining narrow, energetic italics with sharp terminals and occasional swashes, it aims to deliver an expressive, vintage-leaning voice suitable for storytelling and decorative typography.

In running text the texture and high modulation create strong sparkle and a jagged color, especially at smaller sizes. Uppercase forms feel display-forward, while lowercase maintains an old-style, calligraphic cadence; some characters include distinctive swashes or internal curls that become prominent in headlines and short phrases.
