A distressed, irregular display face with jagged contours and visibly rough stroke edges, as if cut from torn paper or painted with a dry, chattering brush. Stems and curves keep a generally upright, blocky skeleton, but the outlines wobble and fracture into small nicks and spikes, creating a noisy texture across every glyph. Counters are uneven and slightly lumpy, and terminals often end in blunt, torn-looking shapes rather than clean cuts. Spacing and widths vary noticeably from character to character, adding to the handmade, unpolished rhythm in words and lines.

Best suited to short bursts of text where texture and attitude matter more than refinement—titles, headers, and logo-like wordmarks for horror, punk/alternative music, Halloween promotions, or gritty game interfaces. It can also work as an accent font in posters and editorial spreads, paired with a cleaner text face to carry long reading.

The font projects a gritty, uneasy energy—more menacing than playful—evoking DIY zines, horror ephemera, and weathered signage. Its roughness reads as intentional and theatrical, giving text a confrontational, street-level tone with a slightly macabre edge.

The design appears intended to simulate an aggressively handmade, worn aesthetic while keeping letterforms recognizable and upright. Its goal is to inject texture and tension into typography through consistently torn, irregular outlines and uneven widths that feel deliberately imperfect.

In the sample text, the coarse perimeter texture stays consistent at larger sizes, where the ragged silhouette becomes the primary stylistic feature. At smaller sizes, the distressed edges can visually thicken and reduce clarity, especially in tighter interior spaces and at joins.
