A dark, emphatic serif with strong thick–thin modulation and crisp, wedge-like serifs. Strokes show a slightly faceted, chiseled quality with sharp interior corners and occasional notch-like joins, giving the contours a cut-paper or engraved feel rather than smooth neoclassical curves. Uppercase forms are compact and sturdy with pronounced feet and pointed terminals, while lowercase features tight bowls and brisk, angular entry/exit strokes; the overall texture reads dense and energetic in paragraphs. Numerals follow the same carved rhythm, with angular bends and assertive terminals that keep them visually aligned with the letters.

Well-suited to display typography such as posters, headlines, mastheads, and book or album covers where its carved contrast and sharp serifs can carry mood. It can also work for short bursts of editorial titling and pull quotes, especially in historical, fantasy, or institutional-themed design contexts.

The tone feels historical and authoritative, evoking old print, blackletter-adjacent signage, and bookish display traditions without becoming fully ornamental. Its sharpness and weight add a slightly theatrical, ominous edge that can read ceremonial or medieval depending on context.

The design appears intended to blend old-style serif proportions with a deliberately sharpened, engraved surface, creating a strong, period-leaning voice that remains readable while adding grit and drama. It aims for a memorable texture and historical flavor rather than quiet text neutrality.

The face maintains consistent contrast and terminal treatment across cases, but the faceting and notches create a lively, irregular sparkle that becomes more apparent at larger sizes. In continuous text, the heavy color and angular details produce a pronounced, textured rhythm that prioritizes character over neutrality.
