A high-contrast roman with sharp transitions between thick verticals and hairline horizontals, producing a crisp, engraved look. Forms are compact and well-contained, with round letters built on clean ovals and a generally vertical stress. Terminals are tapered and clean, with delicate hairlines in characters like E, F, T, and the figures; joins and curves stay smooth without visible roughness. Lowercase shows traditional two-storey a and g, a narrow, straight-sided n/m construction, and a slender f with a small crossbar, keeping a consistent, disciplined rhythm across text.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and prominent editorial use where the strong thick–thin contrast can be appreciated. It also fits premium branding, packaging, and event collateral that benefits from a refined, classical voice. For long passages or small UI text, it will generally perform better with ample size and spacing to protect the hairline detail.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, evoking fashion/editorial typography and classic bookish sophistication. The extreme contrast and fine details add drama and a sense of luxury, while the upright stance keeps it formal rather than playful.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-fashion interpretation of a classic roman silhouette: crisp, controlled, and dramatic in contrast, optimized for impact in display typography while remaining coherent and readable in short text settings.

In the text sample, the hairlines and thin diagonals become notably delicate at smaller sizes, especially in W, V, X and in the upper-case E/F/T, suggesting the design favors generous sizes or high-quality reproduction. Numerals share the same contrast logic, with elegant curves and prominent thick strokes that read well in display settings.
