A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced diagonal stress and crisp, bracketed wedge serifs. Strokes transition from very thin hairlines to sturdy stems, with teardrop/ball-like terminals appearing on several lowercase forms and a generally calligraphic, pen-driven rhythm. The proportions feel generous and open, with a relatively long italic slant, flowing entry/exit strokes, and softly tapered curves that keep counters clear even in heavier joins. Numerals follow the same lively italic logic, showing strong thick–thin modulation and sculpted curves.

Well-suited to editorial settings such as magazines, long-form articles, and book design where an italic with strong character is needed for emphasis. It can also work effectively for pull quotes, headlines, and premium packaging or branding that benefits from a classic, literate tone.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography and old-style editorial refinement. Its energetic italic movement adds a sense of motion and emphasis without becoming informal, giving it a confident, polished voice suited to elegant messaging.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text-serif foundation infused with a lively, calligraphic italic for expressive emphasis. Its sculpted serifs, pronounced thick–thin contrast, and flowing rhythm suggest a focus on elegance and readability in refined print-like contexts.

The texture is animated: thin links and hairlines create sparkle, while the sturdier main strokes keep the page color stable. Uppercase forms read stately and structured, while the lowercase leans more calligraphic, producing a clear hierarchy between display-style emphasis and continuous text.
