A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress and striking thick-to-thin transitions. Stems are robust while crossbars and serifs taper into fine hairlines, giving the forms a sharp, polished edge. Serifs are small and clean with minimal bracketing, and curves (notably in C, G, O, S, and 8) are generously rounded yet tightly controlled. Proportions feel slightly condensed in places with lively width variation across glyphs, producing a rhythmic, editorial texture in both caps and lowercase.

Best suited to display sizes such as headlines, magazine covers, pull quotes, and brand marks where the hairlines can remain crisp. It can also work for short editorial passages in high-quality print or well-rendered digital environments, particularly when paired with a more restrained text face for longer reading.

The overall tone is elegant and assertive, combining classic bookish authority with a fashion-forward, high-end sheen. Its dramatic contrast and crisp detailing read as premium and ceremonial rather than casual, projecting sophistication and gravitas.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized Didone-like elegance: dramatic contrast, vertical posture, and finely cut details that maximize impact in titles and brand-led typography while retaining classical serif credibility.

Uppercase forms are commanding and structured, while lowercase introduces more calligraphic movement—especially in a, f, g, and y—adding texture without breaking the formal system. Numerals are similarly high-contrast and display-leaning, with strong silhouettes that match the capitals’ presence.
