A serifed, old-style display face with roughened, distressed contours and uneven ink edges. Strokes show moderate contrast with flared, wedge-like serifs and subtly irregular terminals that suggest worn metal type or rough letterpress printing. Bowls and counters remain mostly open and readable, but interior edges show small nicks and texture, creating a lively, imperfect rhythm. Proportions feel traditional and bookish, with slightly varied character widths and a compact, sturdy color on the page.

Well-suited for display typography where texture is a feature: posters, book covers, album art, artisanal packaging, and period-inspired headlines. It can also work for short, larger-size editorial pull quotes or chapter openers where a vintage tone is desired, but the distressed edges may be distracting for long body text at small sizes.

The texture and broken edges give the font an antique, handmade presence—evoking vintage printing, folklore ephemera, and weathered signage. It reads as warm and tactile rather than sleek, adding grit and charm to short passages and titles.

The design appears intended to mimic traditional serif letterforms printed under imperfect conditions—worn type, uneven inking, or aged reproduction—while keeping letter shapes familiar and legible. Its goal is to add historic character and tactile texture without abandoning classic proportions.

In the sample text, the distressed detailing stays consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, creating a cohesive “printed” patina. The texture becomes more apparent at larger sizes, while smaller settings will read more like a softly roughened serif.
