A heavy, block-built slab serif with large, rectangular serifs and short bracket transitions that create a carved, poster-like silhouette. Strokes stay broadly even with only slight modulation, while counters are relatively tight, giving the face dense color and strong line integrity. Many joins show small triangular or rectangular notches at interior corners, reinforcing a machined, stamped feel and keeping heavy shapes from clogging. Uppercase forms are broad and stable, and the lowercase maintains a solid, compact rhythm with prominent slabs on ascenders and terminals.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, posters, and large-format messaging where its slab terminals and dense weight can carry emphasis. It also fits sports- and collegiate-inspired branding, labels, and packaging that benefit from a tough, traditional voice. For longer passages, it will read most comfortably when given generous size and spacing to offset the tight counters.

The overall tone is confident and robust, with a distinctly vintage, collegiate/athletic flavor. Its squared serifs and dense weight read as hardworking and utilitarian, suggesting signage, uniforms, and bold editorial statements. The crisp cut-ins add a slightly industrial edge that feels energetic rather than delicate.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a traditional slab-serif framework, combining broad proportions and firm serifs with corner notches that prevent heaviness from feeling blunt. It aims for a recognizable, heritage-inflected voice that remains highly legible in bold, attention-grabbing settings.

The numerals are equally stout and geometric, matching the blocky serif vocabulary and maintaining consistent presence alongside the capitals. In text settings the strong serifs and tight internal spaces create high impact, favoring display sizes where the angular notches and slab terminals remain clearly legible.
