A lightly built serif with an intentionally irregular, worn surface. Strokes show subtle wobble and uneven terminals, with small nicks and breaks that mimic ink drag or distressed printing. Serif forms are bracketed and compact rather than sharp, and curves (notably in C, G, O, and S) carry a slightly handmade asymmetry. The lowercase is readable with a moderate x-height and open counters, while the numerals and capitals keep a classical skeleton but with softened, imperfect outlines that create a textured rhythm in lines of text.

Well-suited for vintage-leaning packaging, labels, and poster typography where a lightly weathered impression adds authenticity. It can also support book covers and editorial headings, and works for short passages when a textured, old-print character is part of the desired voice.

The font conveys an antique, tactile tone—like aged paper, imperfect impressions, and hand-printed ephemera. Its gentle roughness feels literary and nostalgic rather than aggressive, adding personality and a hint of whimsy to otherwise traditional letterforms.

The design appears intended to combine a conventional serif foundation with controlled distressing, delivering the familiarity of classic letterforms while introducing a printed, timeworn patina. The goal seems to be reliable readability with added material character for thematic and period-evocative applications.

In the sample text, the distressing remains consistent across sizes, reading as surface texture more than radical deformation. Spacing feels comfortably book-like, and the irregular edges add visual noise that becomes more noticeable in dense paragraphs, making it strongest when some texture is desirable rather than pristine clarity.
