A distressed slab-serif design with a typewriter-like skeleton and heavy, blunt terminals. Letterforms are relatively compact with sturdy verticals and squared serifs, while the outlines show consistent roughness and bite-like erosion that suggests worn metal type or rough printing on absorbent paper. The texture is not purely random: counters stay largely readable, but edges wobble and break, creating a mottled silhouette and intermittent ink-blob thickening. Spacing reads as monospaced or near-monospaced in the sample, reinforcing the mechanical rhythm despite the irregular contouring.

Works well for display typography that benefits from texture: posters, book and album covers, event graphics, and packaging where an aged or industrial print feel is desired. It can also serve for short editorial headlines, pull quotes, or labels, especially when paired with cleaner body text to preserve readability.

The font conveys an analog, lived-in tone—part newsroom, part dossier, part DIY zine. Its roughened impressions feel tactile and slightly gritty, adding urgency and atmosphere without tipping into illegibility at typical headline and short-text sizes.

The design appears intended to merge a classic slab/typewriter structure with deliberate degradation, producing a convincing rough-printed effect. It prioritizes character and atmosphere—suggesting wear, ink spread, and imperfect reproduction—while maintaining clear, familiar letterforms.

Uppercase has a sturdy, poster-like presence, while lowercase retains a utilitarian, typed cadence. Numerals follow the same worn-print logic with softened corners and uneven stroke edges, keeping the set visually cohesive across letters and figures.
