A calligraphic serif with sharp, wedge-like terminals and irregular, slightly broken contours that read as inked or carved rather than mechanically drawn. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and a lively rhythm, with small asymmetries and tapered joins that keep counters open and shapes animated. Serifs are short and pointed, often flaring into triangular spurs; curves and bowls look subtly faceted, and the overall color is bold with a distinctly textured edge.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, titles, posters, book covers, and packaging where its textured edges and dramatic modulation can be appreciated. It can also work for short, thematic passages—chapter heads, pull quotes, or signage—when a historical or craft-forward character is desired.

The texture and spiky terminals give the face an antique, hand-crafted tone—suggesting early printing, parchment, or carved lettering. It feels dramatic and a little rugged, lending a folkloric or historical flavor rather than a polished contemporary one.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional, hand-made letterforms with an intentionally weathered finish, combining old-style proportions with expressive, pointed terminals. Its goal seems to be atmosphere and character over neutrality, providing a distinctive, period-tinged voice for themed typography.

In the sample text, the irregular edges create a strong “ink on paper” presence that becomes more pronounced as size increases, while tighter spacing and dense passages may look darker due to the heavy contrast and roughened outlines. Numerals and capitals carry the same chiseled, calligraphic energy, reinforcing a consistent, period-leaning voice across the set.
