A serif typeface with sculpted, bracketed serifs and strongly tapered strokes that create a crisp, engraved feel. Curves are smooth and full, while joins and terminals sharpen into fine points, producing a rhythmic light–dark pattern across words. Uppercase forms feel stately and well-proportioned, with a traditional Roman structure; the lowercase shows a compact, sturdy build with prominent serifs and a two-storey “g”. Numerals share the same tension and contrast, with elegant curves (notably 2, 3, 5, 8, 9) and sturdy verticals for strong alignment in text.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and display typography in editorial settings such as magazines, newspapers, and book covers. It also works well for branding that needs a traditional, authoritative voice—especially when paired with a simpler companion for body text.

The overall tone is classical and editorial, projecting authority and polish. It reads as literary and institutional rather than casual, with a refined, slightly dramatic presence that suits prominent typography. The sharp tapering and crisp serifs add a sense of ceremony and seriousness.

This design appears intended to deliver a conventional, classical serif voice with heightened refinement: strong vertical emphasis, elegant tapering, and crisp serifs that create a confident, premium look in prominent typographic roles.

Spacing and rhythm in the sample text appear dense and emphatic, helping the face hold together at larger sizes for impactful headlines. The pointed terminals and high stroke modulation can make it feel more delicate in fine details, so it naturally favors contexts where its sculpted contrast can be appreciated.
