A very heavy, high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared stroke endings and strongly bracketed serifs. Curves are tight and muscular, with pronounced swelling into terminals and deep, ink-trap–like joins in places (notably in diagonals and bowls), giving a carved, chiselled rhythm. Uppercase forms feel broad-shouldered and compact, while the lowercase shows sturdy, bulbous bowls (a, e, g) and short, decisive arms. Numerals are equally weighty with crisp transitions and emphasized curves, maintaining the same dramatic thick–thin cadence as the letters.

Best suited to headlines, mastheads, and short bursts of copy where its contrast and sculptural terminals can be appreciated. It can work well for premium branding, packaging, and event or cultural posters that benefit from a classic yet bold voice. In longer text, it will perform most comfortably at larger sizes with generous leading to offset its dense color.

The overall tone is theatrical and assertive, leaning toward a luxurious, editorial sensibility rather than quiet text neutrality. Its strong contrast and sculpted details evoke a traditional, display-forward voice that reads as confident, slightly formal, and attention-seeking.

The design appears intended to combine classic serif structure with modern, attention-grabbing contrast and flared detailing. The tight apertures, deep joins, and emphatic terminals suggest a display-oriented serif meant to project authority and sophistication while remaining distinctly stylized.

Spacing appears intentionally tight in running text, creating dense, impactful word shapes. The interior counters are relatively constrained for the weight, which increases punch at large sizes but can make long passages feel dark and compact. Diagonals (V, W, X, y) show distinctive notched or pinched joins that add a bespoke, engraved character.
