A flared serif with broad proportions and open counters, combining sturdy verticals with gently swelling stroke terminals. Serifs are tapered and subtly bracketed, reading more like chiseled or calligraphic flare-outs than flat slabs. Curves are smooth and generously rounded (notably in O, C, G, and the bowls), while joins and terminals stay crisp, giving the design a polished, deliberate rhythm. The lowercase shows a single-storey a and g and maintains a steady, readable texture; figures are similarly open and softly contoured, with a distinctive, slightly ornamental 2 and 3.

Well suited to editorial typography where a classic, high-legibility serif texture is desired, especially for magazine headlines, book covers, and section openers. Its broad proportions and flared details also make it a strong candidate for branding, packaging, and identity systems that need a traditional voice with a distinctive edge.

The overall tone is traditional but approachable: it carries a bookish, old-style seriousness without feeling fragile or overly formal. The wide stance and soft flare lend warmth and a quiet confidence, making it feel suited to cultured, editorial settings rather than strict modernist minimalism.

The design appears intended to merge classical serif conventions with flared, calligraphic finishing to create a recognizable texture that scales from text to display. Its open forms and measured detailing suggest an aim for readability and steadiness, while the distinctive terminals provide enough personality for titles and logotype-like settings.

Letterforms exhibit a consistent, gently expansive spacing and a calm horizontal flow, with pronounced roundness that keeps large text friendly and headline settings commanding. The flared endings add character at display sizes while remaining restrained enough to keep paragraphs cohesive.
