This serif typeface uses gently flared, tapered stroke endings that widen into small wedge-like terminals rather than hard slabs. Strokes are clean and mostly even in weight, with subtle modulation and smooth, bracketed transitions into the serifs. Proportions feel traditional and bookish: capitals are well balanced and rounded forms (C, G, O, Q) are spacious, while diagonals (K, V, W, X) stay crisp without becoming sharp. Lowercase shows open apertures and a steady rhythm, with a compact, readable structure and a simple, single-storey g and a restrained, curved tail on y. Numerals match the text tone with classic shapes and modest terminals that keep figures clear in running text.

It is well suited to continuous reading in books and editorial layouts where a warm serif texture is desired. The distinctive flared terminals also make it effective for chapter openings, pull quotes, and cultural or heritage-leaning branding that benefits from a refined but approachable voice.

The overall tone is quietly elegant and literary, projecting a composed, humanist warmth rather than a stark modern precision. Its flared terminals add a handcrafted, slightly calligraphic softness that reads as traditional and trustworthy, suitable for polished editorial settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic text-serif reading experience enhanced by flared, tapered terminals for added personality and warmth. It aims for clarity and steady rhythm in paragraphs while offering enough character to stand out in display sizes.

Spacing appears even and text color is consistent in paragraphs, helping long lines remain comfortable. The flaring and tapering are noticeable at joins and terminals (notably on E/F/T and the lowercase curves), giving the face a distinctive engraved or pen-influenced finish without becoming decorative.
