A dramatic serif with a calligraphic, ink-brushed construction and sharply contrasted thick verticals against hairline joins and terminals. The outlines are intentionally irregular, with wavy edges, uneven stroke endings, and small nicks that create a distressed, hand-rendered texture. Serifs are narrow and pointed, often forming dagger-like finials, while curves (notably in C, O, and S) swell abruptly into heavy black forms before tapering into fine links. Proportions vary noticeably from letter to letter, producing an uneven rhythm and a strong, display-oriented silhouette.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, titles, packaging, and cover typography where texture and character are desired. It can work for themed branding (horror, gothic, fantasy, or festive seasonal materials) and for pull quotes or chapter headings, but its irregular rhythm and sharp details make it less appropriate for extended body text at small sizes.

The font feels darkly theatrical and slightly mischievous, evoking vintage horror titles, gothic folklore, and hand-lettered spellbook aesthetics. Its dramatic contrast and roughened contours add a sense of urgency and personality, more expressive than refined.

The design appears intended as an expressive display serif that merges high-contrast, vertical-stress letterforms with deliberately rough, hand-inked edges to create a spooky, vintage-leaning atmosphere. Its goal is recognizability and mood rather than typographic neutrality or continuous-text efficiency.

Spacing appears uneven by design, contributing to a jittery, handmade cadence in text lines. Numerals and capitals show especially bold, poster-like shapes, while some lowercase letters introduce loopier, more calligraphic gestures that heighten the quirky, story-driven tone.
