A heavy, block-forward slab serif with squared proportions and softly rounded corners. The serifs are prominent and mostly rectangular with subtle bracketing, giving the forms a sturdy, stamped look. Counters are compact and apertures are relatively tight, while joins and interior corners show small notches that read like ink-traps or chiseled cuts. Curves (C, O, S) are broad and smooth but terminate with blunt, squared endings, maintaining a consistent, muscular rhythm across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals.

Best suited to display settings where strong color and presence are needed, such as headlines, posters, apparel and sports branding, packaging, and bold signage. It can also work for short subheads or callouts when a compact, high-impact texture is desired.

The overall tone is assertive and workmanlike, with a distinctly retro, poster-era presence. It suggests durability and straightforwardness—more “built” than “drawn”—and carries a collegiate/industrial flavor that feels at home in bold headlines and impact messaging.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with sturdy slab serifs and compact counters, balancing traditional slab cues with simplified, cut-in details for a contemporary, punchy display voice.

Lowercase is intentionally weighty, with single-storey a and g and short ascenders/descenders that keep the texture dense. Numerals are similarly robust and geometric, emphasizing legibility and punch over delicacy.
