A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered strokes and small, bracketed serifs that flare subtly at terminals. The curves are smooth and disciplined, with crisp joins and a slightly calligraphic modulation that gives capitals a sculpted, elegant profile. Lowercase forms are compact and readable, with open apertures and neatly finished terminals; the overall rhythm is steady, with moderate spacing and a clear, traditional skeleton. Numerals follow the same contrast-driven model, with strong vertical emphasis and refined finishing at ends and corners.

Best suited to display and editorial settings such as headlines, magazine typography, book jackets, and refined brand marks. It also fits formal communications (programs, invitations, certificates) where an elegant, traditional serif voice is desired; for long passages, it will be most comfortable at generous sizes and spacing.

The font conveys a classic, literary tone—polished and authoritative without feeling overly ornate. Its sharp tapering and refined contrast create a sense of prestige and formality, suited to editorial voices that want clarity with a touch of ceremony.

The design appears intended to modernize a traditional serif model through heightened contrast and tapered, flared finishing, producing an elegant display-forward texture while retaining familiar, readable letterforms.

In text, the strong stroke contrast and tapered serifs create a lively light–dark texture, especially at larger sizes. Diagonal letters (like V, W, X, Y) show pronounced thinning toward joins, reinforcing the chiseled, calligraphic feel while keeping the overall impression clean and controlled.
