A heavy slab-serif with broad, squared terminals and pronounced, mostly bracketed serifs that read as solid “feet” on stems. Curves are generously rounded but kept tight and muscular, while counters stay relatively compact, giving the type a dense, poster-forward color. Stroke modulation is subtle but present, with slightly firmer verticals and slabs that hold their shape across sizes. Lowercase forms lean toward a sturdy, somewhat traditional structure (notably the two-storey a and the robust, footed i/j), and numerals share the same blunt, block-like construction.

Best suited to headlines, posters, and signage where a strong silhouette and high visual weight are advantages. It also works well for packaging and branding that want a sturdy, heritage-inflected feel, and for editorial display settings such as section headers, pull quotes, and large subheads.

The overall tone is bold and no-nonsense, projecting strength and reliability with a distinctly retro, workwear flavor. It feels like display typography meant to be seen quickly and remembered, with an authoritative, headline-centric voice.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a classic slab-serif vocabulary—combining bold, rectangular serifs and compact counters to create a tough, dependable texture. Its letterforms prioritize clarity and presence in display sizes while maintaining familiar, readable constructions in both cases.

Spacing and rhythm emphasize impact over delicacy: wide slabs and tight internal shapes create a compact texture that stays cohesive in large setting. The design’s square-ended geometry and consistent serif presence give it a strong baseline and clear horizontal emphasis.
