A monoline, slab-serif design with deliberately imperfect contours that mimic ink spread and slight wear. Strokes end in blunt, squared terminals with subtly softened corners, producing a sturdy, stamped rhythm. The proportions feel roomy and horizontally open, and the letterforms maintain a consistent cell-to-cell fit typical of fixed-width construction. Counters are simple and roundish, and the overall drawing favors straightforward geometry over finesse, with small irregularities that keep repeated characters from feeling sterile.

Well-suited to situations that benefit from a credible typed texture: screenplay-style layout, epistolary design, labels and packaging callouts, museum or archival graphics, and UI moments that reference terminals or logs. It also works for short editorial quotes and headings where a mechanical, document-like presence is desired without heavy grunge.

The font conveys an archival, documentary tone—practical and matter-of-fact, with a hint of age from its roughened edges. Its texture suggests paperwork, forms, and typed notes, reading as honest and utilitarian rather than polished or luxurious.

The design appears intended to recreate the look of mechanical typing with mild ribbon wear—prioritizing consistent spacing and clear silhouettes while adding tactile irregularity for character. It aims for legibility and authenticity in settings that call for a functional, typewritten voice.

The wear is restrained rather than heavily distressed: edges look slightly uneven, as if from a used ribbon or lightly inked stamp, while maintaining clear silhouettes. Numerals share the same sturdy, squared-off construction and integrate cleanly with the rest of the set in continuous text.
