A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared stroke endings and strongly bracketed serifs that create a carved, slightly calligraphic rhythm. Curves are smooth and taut, with pronounced thick–thin modulation in bowls and diagonals, and crisp terminals that stay elegant rather than blunt. Uppercase forms feel stately and evenly proportioned, while the lowercase shows a traditional book-face structure with compact joins, a two-storey a, and a lively, flowing g with a distinct ear. Numerals appear lining with clear contrast and sturdy vertical stress, maintaining the same refined, tapered stroke behavior as the letters.

Well suited to editorial headlines, magazine typography, book or chapter titles, and brand wordmarks that need a refined serif voice. It can also work for short-to-medium passages when set with comfortable leading, where the contrast and sculpted serifs contribute a classic, upscale texture.

The overall tone is polished and literary, combining old-style warmth with a more dramatic, fashion-forward contrast. It reads as confident and authoritative, with enough sharpness and sparkle to feel premium and contemporary in display settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif foundation enhanced by flared, sculptural stroke endings and pronounced contrast for a more elevated, display-capable presence. It aims for a balance of classic readability and premium, attention-grabbing refinement.

The font’s contrast and flared detailing become especially prominent at larger sizes, where the brackets and tapered transitions read as deliberate shaping rather than texture. The italic is not shown; the sample suggests a clean, steady baseline and a composed, editorial color in text.
