This typeface presents a high-contrast serif structure with tapered, flared stroke endings that create pointed terminals and crisp edges. Serifs are bracketed and compact, with a strong vertical axis and clear thick–thin modulation across stems and curves. Capitals feel stately and slightly condensed in impression, while the lowercase maintains a traditional rhythm with a moderate x-height, open counters, and neatly finished joins. Overall spacing reads measured and even, supporting a refined, print-oriented texture in paragraphs.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, and essay layouts where a refined serif texture is desired. It also performs strongly for headlines, pull quotes, and brand wordmarks that benefit from sharp contrast and elegant finishing, especially at medium to large sizes.

The tone is polished and literary, with a sense of formality and editorial sophistication. Its sharp terminals and sculpted contrast give it a confident, slightly dramatic voice that suits classic, high-end presentation without feeling ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif reading experience with added character from tapered, flared terminals—balancing traditional proportions with a more sculpted, high-contrast presence for contemporary editorial use.

Round characters show pronounced stress and narrow hairlines that can visually sparkle at larger sizes, while the numeral set carries the same contrast and crisp finishing for consistent hierarchy. The flared endings add a subtle calligraphic energy, helping headings feel more distinctive than a purely transitional serif.
