This typeface is a high-contrast serif italic with sharp, tapered terminals and finely bracketed serifs. Strokes show a strong calligraphic slant and pronounced thick–thin modulation, producing crisp hairlines alongside robust stems. The lowercase is compact with a noticeably short x-height and lively ascenders/descenders, while capitals are narrow and inclined with sculpted curves and pointed joins. Overall spacing reads moderately tight, with an energetic rhythm created by the steep italic angle and occasional swash-like entry/exit strokes.

Best suited to display and short-form typography where its contrast and slanted rhythm can be appreciated—editorial headlines, pull quotes, book and magazine covers, invitations, and refined branding. It can also work for emphasized passages in text settings, provided size and printing/rendering preserve the fine hairlines.

The design projects a polished, bookish sophistication with a slightly dramatic, continental flair. Its steep italic and razor hairlines give it a formal, ceremonial tone, while the warm, calligraphic motion keeps it from feeling cold or mechanical.

The font appears designed to deliver an expressive, classical italic voice with strong calligraphic energy and premium contrast, aiming for elegance in display while retaining recognizable old-style proportions and readable letterforms.

Several glyphs show distinctive italic construction—single-storey forms and strong diagonal stress—along with delicate details in the numerals and punctuation-like terminals. At smaller sizes the thin hairlines may visually recede, while at display sizes the contrast and curvature become a defining feature.
